They say your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.
Missing the quiet moment at Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, just outside Kanazawa Castle. Dubbed as one of Japan's 3 Great Gardens. It was built by the ruling Maeda Family for over 3 centuries. An ancient Chinese poem mentioned about the 6 qualities of a truly great garden: flowing water, distant views, sprawling, secluded, human artistry, and age-old elegance. Kenrokuen is believed to possess all these 6 elements, which is almost impossible to achieve. 🌲🌱🌳🍀☘🍃🌿
How to get to there:
From Kanazawa Station East Exit, take the Kanazawa Right Loop Bus at Bus Stop #7. Alternatively, you can also ride the Kenroukuen Shuttle Bus from Bus Stop #6.
Check out my comprehensive Hokuriku Arch Pass itinerary on the blog for more details. 🌱🌳🌲🍃☘🍀🌿
