I’m gonna get real for a sec-
I’ve said it before that lifting has kept me strong mentally and emotionally just as much as it has physically.
By the age of 4, I was already taught hard lessons about life.
By the age of 17, I lost an entire piece of my family to murder by one of their own.
I also had to figure out how to be strong for the only survivor which I felt I wasn’t very good at.
By 21 I got engaged to one of the most beautiful people I’ve, to this day, ever met.
By 24, he passed away -this is about the time I started getting into the gym.
At 25 I had a baby with my best friend of 20+ years. He decided it wasn’t what he wanted, and left the country a month after he was born. I didn’t chase him, my son and I are just fine on our own. I couldn’t feel more blessed than I do being his mommy. ♡
Lifting has always had my back (literally lol) Keeping a healthy body and mind is so so so important. Self love is so important. Not giving up is so important. Lifting makes me feel good, makes me feel 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁 and 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭. It has made me a stronger daughter, a stronger sister and a stronger mother.

Fitness is a liftstyle, and a journey, and a challenge I encourage everyone to join. ♡ Remember, if you think you’ve hit rock bottom. You can only go up. 🤷🏼♀️💕💪🏻 .
