Please read (not just another glute selfie). I took this pic this AM and my scale weight dropped down again to last week's # (& not even a full week post big cheat day...& still only about 5lb up from pre-peak week stage weight, which is not a lot for me. I was pretty lean). So competitors know how once you see yourself stage-shredded..you compare yourself to that frequently. Reverse dieting (gradually building calories) without wanting to restrict when feeling fluffy or bloated, OR binging your face off bc you're hungrier than in your dieting phase...is hard. Your metabolism is speeding up & your body is like yaaaas I forgot! you NEED food so eat Everything! Your #hungerhormonesoutofwack bc you are still too lean. Coach increased my calories by 100 this week...& I was hesitant. Bc even though I know better..this is a difficult mind-game post show. I'm not perfect. I'm still figuring out what's best for me. But I haven't binged once (enjoyed kind of a big cheat day ๐Ÿ˜Š) and resisted irrational urges (but been there, done that as a new competitor!) This week, I'm going to try to have a more "responsible" cheat day (probably ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿค& a couple other treats) &... not track the next day either but the next day, eat normal, regular foods I usually eat. And evaluate how that works for me. Ppl won't understand. No, you probably don't have an eating disorder ๐Ÿ™„ ... Be patient & accepting of yourself bc this temporary phase is almost inevitable. A plan after the diet is invaluable! Oh & yesterday, I felt fluffy & it took a lot of selfies before I was happy ๐Ÿ™„ AND if you're still reading, please vote 4 me in that bio.
