Finally on my way to Boise after a two hour flight delay 😅. There’s a chance I’m going to miss my connection in Salt Lake, but at least I’m headed in the right direction (west ☀️) now 🙆‍♀️. Made a simple lunch before leaving for the airport, and have a bunch of snacks packed for in-flight entertainment (currently watching: Hocus Pocus 🧙‍♀️👻 ). - #whatsonmyplate: crispy seared salmon 👉🏻 season salmon fillet with sea salt and black pepper. In a non-stick pan, heat 1 tsp. avocado oil (or garlic ghee) for one minute. Add salmon filet, skin side up, and sear for 3 minutes, then flip and let it finish cooking on its skin (approx. 4 mins). •• grain-free @mikeys toasted onion english muffin toasted and topped with garlic ghee + avocado + ‘everything but the bagel’ seasoning •• kale caesar salad 🌿👉🏻 toss baby kale with @primalkitchenfoods caesar dressing + hemp hearts + red pepper flakes + parmesan. - Hope you’ve all had a great Tuesday! ❤️ Catch ya from Boise! 😘

I started my journey July of 2016 at 414 lb. I'm down 230 pounds in 14 months and maintained this weight for just over a year! I have a lot of physical changes, but for me it's the emotional and mental changes that have been the best transformation! I have learned to live again..I now love working out and challenging my body in how far it can go. Watching it transform and become stronger is an incredible feeling after abusing it for years. I have learned to love myself unconditionally.....that means, nurture, honor and respect myself. I love that I'm able to deal with all the different emotions life can bring without involving food. I now eat to fuel my body and not feed my emotions. I have enjoyed a cheat meal here and there and I love that I am in control of how much I consume. I eat just enough to satisfy that little craving 💪 . Just because you're struggling doesn't mean you're failing. Every great success requires some type of struggle. Having the right attitude is incredibly important. Understand that you will have slip ups and accept that it's part of the journey. Pick up and move on. This recipe makes 2 servings, 1 serving is one whole bun, top and bottom. - 4g NET CARBS per serv. - 📲 Follow @theketobible for more tips, tricks, and recipes. 👌🏼 - 📋 INGREDIENTS - For the cauliflower buns: 180 grams Cauliflower Grated, Cooked & Water Squeezed Out 25 grams Parmesan cheese 30 grams Cream Cheese (Room Temperature) 1 Egg Salt & Pepper to taste - 👨🏼‍🍳 INSTRUCTIONS - 1. Clean and cut your cauliflower and separate the florets. 2. Grind them in your food processor until you get a cous cous like consistency. You can also grate the cauliflower. 3. Microwave it for 5-7minutes until it’s tender and then remove in a tea towel and squeeze out as much water as you can 4. Weight out 180 grams of the cauliflower and mix in a bowl with salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, cream cheese and one egg and then give it all a good mix. 5. Divide the mixture into 4 parts and shape the buns on parchment paper 6. Bake in the oven at 190C for 20-25 minutes till it is fully cooked and golden brown. 7. Once cooled, remove from the pan and use it for your Keto Burger recipes. You can even use this to make mini pizzas or as a muffin for eggs Benedict. If you cut out the center it becomes a bagel which you can use to make a salmon and cream cheese bagel with.
