You don’t like applying oils directly on skin? Are you afraid of clogged pores or breakouts? Fear no more, I have a few tips for you. Firstly, make sure you choose an oil that is suitable for your skin type which does not clog the pores.
Oils are best applied on damped skin or after serum (this is my personal conviction). If you have been on my page for quite some time, you know I love to try new things, mix ingredients to maximise the benefits and create an enjoyable experience at the same time.
Natasha @apothakaskincare created this amazing Rejuvenating Face Oil with co-enzyme Q10 (powerful antioxidant, proven to prevent wrinkles), pure vit E, evening primrose, plus other goodies, but most importantly does not clog the pores (tested by me). The version I have is appropriate for my skin type and I absolutely adore it. Although it works beautifully on it’s own as advised above, I discovered another method (customised for myself) which I enjoy.
I absolutely adore mixing 3-4 drops of this gorgeous oil to my fav Hydrating Mask by @avene_uki (I have reviewed it). The mask absorbs so beautifully into the skin (does not clog the pores) hence why I knew this was a safe bet. I apply this mix on the skin & reap the results. The oil in combination with the mask absorbs brilliantly and the skin feels soft, pampered, plumped and radiant. You can wipe off the residue after 10-15 min, or massage the rest for 5 min. Do you massage your skin by the way? It makes a huge difference. I love to use this oil on its own when doing a face massage, the consistency it’s perfect for an at home spa experience. I highly recommend both products & my method. Let me know if you plan try it & enjoy the results as much as I am. 💚 *gifted
