What an unforgettable week it has been here in Australia 🇦🇺!! After speaking at an event in Brisbane, I flew to Hamilton Island on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef for a couple of days of R&R before Date With Destiny begins. . This is an extraordinary place — the crystal clear waters and white sand beaches are absolutely breathtaking 🏝! My buddies and I were privileged to enjoy two days of golfing on a private island with spectacular views of the ocean⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️. Then, we went diving on the Great Barrier Reef — one of the seven wonders of the natural world — which is home to more coral, fish and marine life than ANYWHERE on the planet 🐠. I saw the largest, most beautiful fish I have ever seen, an amazing array of coral and even giant clams! We also helicoptered to a private location on Whitehaven Beach which is considered the most beautiful beach in Australia and one of the top three beaches in the WORLD. The sand is 98% pure silica and is one of the softest things you’ll ever touch — it’s hard to tell from the photos but the sand is so bright white that it looks like baby powder! Thank you to the staff of the @qualiaresort for such a world class experience — this is truly paradise! . This has been the perfect place to focus and prepare for the EPIC week ahead — Date With Destiny in Cairns begins in less than 24 hours! Tomorrow marks the beginning of a six-day journey with 2,000 people ready to create a magnificent life on THEIR terms. See you tomorrow, Cairns — leave a comment and let me know if you’ll be joining us for this week of ultimate transformation! . #datewithdestiny #greatbarrierreef #hamiltonisland #whitehavenbeach

It’s great to be back in Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺! I was honored to be the keynote speaker for 6,500+ entrepreneurs & business professionals committed to creating unprecedented levels of success AND fulfillment. . I was deeply moved by my friend and fellow speaker @turiapitt, an extraordinary engineer, athlete, and humanitarian. In 2011, Turia was caught in a grassfire and suffered burns to 65% of her body. She survived against ALL ODDS, rebuilt her life, and is living proof that with a strong purpose and vision for your life, you can overcome ANY challenge and any circumstance. . I first met Turia when she attended my Unleash the Power Within program in Sydney and feel blessed today to have had the opportunity to once again hear her powerful story of triumph over the unimaginable. . And speaking of Australia, we’re less than ONE WEEK away from Date With Destiny in Cairns 🐨! . Can’t wait to embark on this transformational 6-day journey with an intimate group of 1,500 souls ready to discover and connect with their ultimate purpose! Leave a comment and let me know if you’ll be joining us in Cairns! . #NAC2018 #TuriaPitt . 📸: @successresourcesaustralia

We were surprised to hear the news that our friend and writing and reporting icon Tom Wolfe has passed away after an extraordinarily expressive 88 years of life. . Wolfe’s new journalism was renegade, revolutionary and revelatory. In one tribute I saw today, Wolfe was described as a writer who didn’t just use the English language “so much as he DETONATED it.” I love that! FINALLY, here was a man who loved the exclamation mark and the exuberant EMOTION of words, and punctuation and language as much as I do!!!!! . Sage, Mary B and I had the privilege to meet and get to know Mr. Wolfe about two years ago with his son Tommy and daughter Alexandra. He arrived for a visit at our hotel suite in NYC — in his trademark white suit and wood-carved wolf-headed walking stick, of course. . The then 86-year-old Tom Wolfe we met was exceptionally excitable, thoughtful, humble, kind and still viscerally creative and consciously connected. . He told us a great story of the week he spent with Cassius Clay (the year before he became Muhammad Ali) on assignment to write an article for Esquire and how Ali never gave him the sound-bite-money-quote that Tom went there seeking that was the coveted Hallmark of Ali that his editors were no doubt expecting!! But instead of bemoaning the situation, Wolfe decided he’d just followed Ali around and write about EVERYTHING going on AROUND him — his family, the dialogue, the scene, the sociology. And that was essentially the origins of his saturation reporting. It’s a real testament to Wolfe’s resourcefulness as a writer to capture ALL the details with prose so electric and alive that no one had never quite seen anything like it. . Wolfe told us that day that he wanted to excite his readers intellectually AND emotionally. “How do I get people to FEEL more,” he told us of his journalistic quest. . Thank you for your entire body of work and for all the feelings that so many of us have felt through you and because of your words, Tom. May you rest in peace, knowing that you are a national treasure and we are so grateful for your creative vision and historic contributions. . #tomwolfe #newjournalism

Feeling absolutely invigorated after our trip to Panama this weekend, where I received the transformative benefits of stem cell therapy! Our huge thanks and honor to all the doctors and the bright, caring medical staff at the state-of-the-art Stem Cell Institute in Panama City, Panama 🇵🇦. Stem cells saved my shoulder after struggling with excruciating pain from spinal stenosis and, more recently, a torn rotator cuff. Stem cell treatment is truly a next-level health innovation that can reverse the wear and tear we put on our bodies and prevent debilitating disease and injury from escalating further 🔬. This technological advancement will impact humanity in life-changing ways— it has the potential to transform and save MILLIONS of lives! . I’m so grateful to be a recipient of this life-changing medical treatment and look forward to this fall, when my good friends and business partners Dr. @peterhdiamandis, Dr. Bob Hariri and I bring this LIFEFORCE to our new company, Fountain. Fountain will be opening in Bimini in the Bahamas in the late fall using Dr. Hariri’s placenta stem cell methodology. Fountain will help us deliver this life-changing technology to those who need it most and help MILLIONS of people live longer, better, active, fuller lives. . It was a beautiful few days as always — thanks, Panama ✈️. Next stop tomorrow (Thursday), 5,000 people in Denver, Colorado ❤️ 😎 👍🏼! . #panamacity #stemcell #regenerativemedicine

Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee — known as the Father of American Taekwondo — was an incredible soul, full of tremendous joy & strength. I wanted to break the record by earning my black belt in just six months versus the 3 or 4 years that it normally takes under Master Rhee’s Taekwondo trainings. I would finish seminars at 2am, train for 2 or 3 hours, then get up to lead the next day’s seminar. Master Rhee was by my side each day, encouraging me to not only upgrade & master my martial arts skills, but teaching me the subtleties of how to live a fulfilling life. . Grandmaster Rhee was an absolute LEGEND. At 13 years old, he began training in martial arts without his father’s knowledge. In the 50s, he immigrated to the United States and opened the FIRST U.S.-based Taekwondo studio in Washington, D.C., which would eventually help bring this sport to the Olympics & the WORLD. . He was the master to the masters of boxing and martial arts & trained both Muhammed Ali & Bruce Lee! Master Rhee once told me a story about how he taught Bruce a new kick, he acted like it was no big deal. That’s just one example of how humble he was. . Most people don’t know that his way of giving back to the country was by training over 250 members of Congress for FREE, including Lyndon B. Johnson, George H.W. Bush, Newt Gingrich & Joe Biden. . Martial arts can so often be about ego & the need to dominate someone else, but Master Rhee was quick to squash that desire & instead gave people the power to respect & protect — the tools of a centuries-old trade that ingrained the spirit of honor & reverence for all life. . As he said, “Most sports only emphasize winning, but I want to transform the training in the gym to human qualities. From endurance to perseverance, timing to punctuality, power to knowledge.” . While I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, my heart is filled with love and gratitude for all this incredible man has done. I’m indebted to him — he has shaped my life massively. I hope all of us today will feel his presence because even though he may have passed physically, he is still my Master and today I bow to this beautiful man. God bless you, Master Rhee. May you rest in peace. ❤️

What an exciting few days we had in Vatican City 🇻🇦! I was honored to be the final speaker at the The Cura Foundation's Unite to Cure conference — to watch the FULL video of my talk, click the link in my profile 🔗⬆️. The learnings and take-aways have been extraordinary, plus, I’m still struck by the setting in which it all took place… . This cutting-edge regenerative medicine conference was embedded within such a uniquely historic place — a walled city-state steeped in rich, deeply complex history and time-honored traditions — this is such a poignant sign of the times. These cobblestone streets are worn down by the footsteps of so many generations of our past, and here we are today, a group of Moonshot visionaries coming together to imagine a revolution that will impact the future, for ourselves, our children, our grandchildren, and beyond. There are breakthroughs coming in the next two or three years that were thought to be 20 or 30 years away! It’s such an exciting time to be alive — brimming with possibility! . The opportunity is rare, to spend time listening to the ideas of such a unique ensemble of human beings, all so diverse in their brilliance. I also never take for granted the privilege to live in a time where we have the ability to travel the way we do, and meet the smartest, brightest, out-of-the-box, kind and loving people, literally around the PLANET 🌏 ❤️. This weekend was one of those special events where you feel progress, and science, and spirit, and GRACE. . The incredible souls that gathered together in the Unite to Cure mission are driven by their universal desire to SERVE the greater good of humanity. They inspire me! . #UniteToCure #Stemcell #regenerativemedicine . Video Credit: The Cura Foundation

While in Vatican City🇻🇦for the Cura Foundation Unite to Cure conference, we were deeply honored to be in the presence of His Holiness, Pope @franciscus. This truly remarkable man has become a symbol of compassion, unification, and loving-kindness across the globe 🌍 ❤️. . We gathered together — scientists, physicians, patients, philanthropists, religious leaders, and government officials, alike — for three days to discuss the societal impact of today’s scientific advancements in regenerative medicine 🔬. . Pope Francis graciously addressed our audience, and then we had the chance to meet him personally. What an incredibly loving, warm and humble human being! He spoke to the heart of this mission and the importance of delivering these life-saving technologies to “every member of our human family.” . He stressed that human progress made in fields such as medicine, health care, and education, should oppose, “an economy of exclusion and inequality.” Adding that, “this is why the globalization of indifference must be countered by the globalization of empathy.” . “It is fundamentally important that we promote greater empathy in society and not remain indifferent to our neighbor’s cry for help,” the Pope said. . I am deeply moved by Pope Francis’ commitment to humbly serve all members of humanity, and more inspired than ever to help promote the future of healthcare. It is an exciting time to be alive and I am passionate about increasing not just lifespans but, more importantly, the HEALTH-spans of all. . #UniteToCure #Stemcell #regenerativemedicine #pope #popefrancis #vatican

While at the Vatican 🇻🇦, we were privileged to enjoy a tour of The Sistine Chapel. In addition to being one of the greatest art treasures of all-time and one of the most celebrated masterpieces in the world, it is also the place where new popes are elected. The Sistine Chapel has the special chimney in the roof that famously broadcasts the papal conclave’s results, indicating to the outside world (with white smoke) when they have reached a decision. This is where Pope @franciscus, like all popes since 1492, was voted into service. . The Chapel is the highly-anticipated last stop finale on the Vatican Museum tour and it never disappoints. Some 20,000 visitors pour through the Chapel's doors EVERY DAY; that’s more than five million admirers each year. . The famous ceiling is 1,000 square meters of frescoes depicting the story of man from Beginning to End, and it took Michelangelo (a SCULPTOR by trade!) 4 years to PAINT. Michelangelo closed himself in the Chapel and worked in complete solitude on a catwalk lit by candlelight, letting no one enter to see the progress. Of course, all the while, most of those around him, rival artists and naysayers said it simply couldn’t be done 🎨. . Now, over half a millennium later, Michelangelo’s ambition and breathtaking contribution remains one of the most celebrated in human existence. The sheer scale, story-telling, and comprehensive coherence is mind-bending. It includes over 300 figures in all! Absolutely extraordinary! . Hard to imagine that he once wrote a letter to his friend declaring, “I am not in the right place – I am not a painter.” . In our own lives, we tell ourselves stories — that we’re too old, too young, too busy, not good enough, not smart enough, and so on. Imagine what kind of world we’d live in if the great artists, architects, poets, and scientists of our time were held back by these kinds of limiting beliefs. Stop the stories you’ve been telling yourself and start focusing on what it is YOU are called to create. Take action on the pursuit of your truth, the truth of who you are and what you were made for, using the gifts your creator instilled in you. . #SistineChapel #Vatican #michelangelo

What a feeling to stand at the top of the tiered rim of iconic columns & arches of the magnificent Colosseum — the emblem of ancient Rome — and look out into what was once the center of the universe 🌍! . While we were in Vatican City for the #UniteToCure conference last week, Sage and I found some time to explore this wondrous city 🇮🇹. As if the 50,000+ capacity, 6-acre, 12-story gladiatorial stadium spectacle wasn’t enough, there’s the Arch of Constantine and the Forum, too — everywhere you look there is history! . Built nearly 2,000 years ago the Roman Colosseum is still the largest and most iconic amphitheater in the world. It had 4 CENTURIES of active use — to think what it must have been like in its prime! (I can’t help but imagine rocking the house with the energy and elevation of an event in there!! 🔥 🎉). We were privileged to have a private tour down into the place where the animals and the gladiators were kept. It was truly extraordinary to see what they experienced before they were released to the surface by an elevator and into the games of death. . As life would have it, days later, we were halfway around the world in Los Angeles with the @lafc celebrating our grand opening of the newest, state-of-the art, @bancofcaliforniastadium ⚽. What contrast and correlation of awesome civic centers spanning all across humanity! These marvels of architecture and engineering both ancient and modern never cease to amaze me! What an incredible time we live in... . #fbf #flashbackfriday #colosseum #regenerativemedicine #italy #rome
