As some of you now know it's been impossible to find a company that will give Indy medical insurance, well I've finally found a company and according to people much more knowledgeable than me it is the ONLY company in the UK that will insure exempt dogs. ONE COMPANY that will offer cover to an exempt dog, all the rest refuse to touch exempt dogs because they are deemed too much of a risk. How disgusting is that? Unlike other insurance policies for "normal" pets though you aren't allowed to pay monthly rather you have to pay one big lump sum at the begining of your policy. This could be from £300-£500 annually whereas insurance for a Labrador would cost you less than £120 a year paid into monthly sums. I emailed the company and this is the info I got about the cover. Do you think this is adequate coverage considering its the only choice exempt dog owners have?

Unfortunately I can't afford a minimum of £300 to take out insurance right now as I have to save for an endoscopy and this potential surgery and even if I could they wouldnt cover Indy's preexisting condition. If you haven't yet done so please read the gofundme (link in bio) and consider donating. I have to save up for a surgery for Indy's tongue, everything is explained on gofundme
